Global Warning and My Wardrobe

I don’t know if I have told you all this, but I hate to shop. I know I am one of the few women in this universe who rebels wholeheartedly the concept of shopping. If I would stay consistent in my weight I may very well still be rocking my “True Colors“, “Guess” and “Bennetton” from the 90’s but alas no such luck.

I have work wear. My current profession requires I at least pretend I care about how I walk out the house. So I try to buy a few pieces each season to keep presentable. I am a lost cause where the shoes are concerned but from the ankles up I look like a quasi professional.

So explain to me what I am supposed to do when it’s 88 degrees in October. I can’t wear the cords I actually like or the boots I love the look of (I still hate the way the feel but my Birkenstocks don’t work in snow).

I’m hot and all my cool clothes are not season appropriate. What the Hell? I wore a jogging suit last week and burned the hell up. I guess if I had been watching the news instead of listening to the new Jill Scott (The Real Thing Words & Sounds Vol. 3) I’d have know it was supposed to be 1200 degrees outside. *SIGH*

The only plus would be that I could still wear my Birkenstocks… except I only go see Jesse the Pedicurist every other month in the fall and winter months UGH!!!! My feet are a hot mess!

This is killing me people. I think I’ll go recycle something. Happy Monday!

PS. This is my cut off the CD!!!!!!!!!
